There was a time when any young fool could cut a record, put his name on it, and have the whole world believing he was a hustler.
But times have changed. And only true hustlers who have worked their way up building everything around them, earned the loyalty and respect of their peers.
Skull Duggrey is no stranger to hardship. Having come straight from the Wards of New Orleans, he knows all too well the hard work and dedication it takes to earn your rank, and the dedication it takes to stay on top.
Skull came up in New Orleans with his eyes fixed on the prize, and his ear to the streets. His tracks paint a haunting image of life as he knew it. Hard earning, and hard learning were his only tools as he kept moving, eventually hooking up with longtime partner Master P. A collab which landed him on the gold-selling compilation Down South Hustlers.
His appetite for success fueled him onward, marked with the releases of the autobiographical,
Hoodlum Fo' Life and These Wicked Streets. Which were followed up by 3rd Ward Stepper, and Controversy.
With the advent of his fifth album on the horizon, Skull is once again set to show the world what it is to come up . |
